The Volunteer Counseling Service of the US Small Business Administration (Chicago SBA Office: www.sba.gov/il/) offers free counseling at Chicagoland locations for operating or starting a business. They also conduct affordable workshops on a variety of business subjects and maintain a free Business Information Center.
